STEMIND is a small, independent site that explains AI tools for researchers in plain language, with prices and features you can check yourself.
Who writes it
Alex-C (HUST). That is the only author information shown on this site.
Independence. This site is independent. It is not sponsored or endorsed by HUST. The author's affiliation is not an endorsement by that institution of this site or of any tool on it.
How tools are assessed
- Vendor facts only, with a date. Plans, prices and features are taken from the vendor's own pages or help centre. Each page lists its sources and the day they were checked.
- "Not verified" instead of guessing. If a page would not load or a number conflicts with another source, the item is marked "not verified" with the date.
- Fit, not rankings. Each profile says who a tool suits and who should look elsewhere. There are no scores or star ratings.
- Hands-on testing is separate. Pages say plainly that no hands-on testing has been done. A "Tested" label appears only after published testing notes exist.
- Re-checks. Prices change. Pages older than about four months should be treated with caution.
Money
The site may add affiliate links in future. Any such link is labelled next to the link and explained on the disclosure page. Today, the links go straight to the official sites.
